The Mt. Cross Ministries Endowment Fund
The Apostle Paul told his young protégé, Timothy, “Command those who are rich in this present world…to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life” (1 Timothy 6:17-19).
Did you Know??? Mt. Cross Ministries has an Endowment Fund in place to support the ministry of Mt. Cross until Jesus returns. The fund is invested with and managed by the Lutheran Community Foundation based in Minneapolis, MN.
Gifts to Mt. Cross's Endowment Fund can easily be made in many forms, including through a planned estate gift received at the time you pass away, or through a current donation of stock, real estate, personal property, life insurance, or cash while you’re still living. They can be made as a memorial to a loved one who has passed away, or in celebration of a wedding anniversary, birthday, baptism, or other special occasion.
We encourage you to try out this tool from the Lutheran Community Foundation. This tool will walk you through a series of choices, and ends with a printable giving plan that you can share with your financial planner or estate planner. The Lutheran Communtiy Foundation also has a number of gift planners who are readily available to talk with you about the best option to meet your needs.
Depending on what church body you belong to, we encourage you to consider working with a gift planner from the following church organzaitons.
